FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE INFORMATION
Piedmont Soccer Academy has developed a program that provides financial assistance to qualifying participants. This program assists players with annual dues. However, it does not cover the cost of uniforms, travel expenses, camps, or tournament fees.
Each family granted any financial assistance may be required to complete up to 25 hours of volunteer work throughout the playing season. In addition, any player's family member may work volunteer hours, which the PSA office will track. These volunteer hours will consist of setting up and breaking down goals and fields for tournaments or weekend games, Field Marshaling, trash pickup, and helping with concessions. Approval of future financial aid will be contingent on compliance with the volunteer requirement.
Because the PSA financial assistance budget is limited, PSA may not be able to meet the needs of all applicants. Meeting the deadline below allows the committee to review your application promptly. Upon notification of any financial assistance awarded, parents are responsible for making timely payments and communicating with the PSA Financial Assistance Committee regarding payments or changes in financial circumstances. If you are late on payments, your child's player pass may be pulled, and your child will not be allowed to participate in ANY PSA activities (including camps, clinics, tournaments, etc.) until the payments are current.
If the player awarded financial assistance registers for participation and subsequently leaves PSA, the assistance will be withdrawn, and the full published fee will be due. The player will be released from PSA once all fees are paid in full. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You must pay an application fee of 25% of the registration fees. This fee will be refunded if your player is not accepted to a team. To be considered for need-based financial assistance, you must submit a complete financial assistance application annually and by June 1st for each age group. Late or incomplete applications may be removed from consideration. All information will be kept confidential.
Applications submitted after the deadline may delay your ability to receive assistance.
